US gunsmith supply: The wilson chamber type bullet seater is a favorite among benchrest shooters. A chamber type bullet seater positively controls both bullet and cartridge case alignment. The case and bullet are completely captured by the die prior to the bullet being pushed straight into the case by a closefitting seating stem. This style of bullet seater works more accurately than a conventional 7/8"-14 bullet seating die. This seater cap and stem are the same as what's supplied with the chamber type bullet seater dies from wilson. Great to have on hand in case your factory cap and stem should become lost or damaged. The lock ring surfaces are machined flat and parallel, and the cross bolt design with no lock screw contacting the die threads is preferred by most experienced reloaders. We incorpated a larger hex screw crossbolt (seven by sixty fourth inch hex wrench) but designed the crossbolt recess so the hex head does not protrude from the lock ring circumferenced.
