US gunsmith supply: Warne maxima steel bases are precision cnc machined from solid steel and are held to very tight tolerances. Modeled around the popular weaver desighn, the maxima steel base is one of the strongest and most versatile mounting systems available today. These bases feature a low profile design which gives a sleek appearance and also gives the shooter the ability to utilize the firearms open sights when the rings are removed. Maxima bases also feature a full width recoil slot in each base. This allows the recoil control keys of warne rings to attain maximum bearing surface. Mfg: warne mfg. Company specs: 12l14 steel. Available in polished blue, matte blue, or silver. Two-piece only, includes mounting screws. Do not mix maxima bases with other brands of weaver-style base, the heights are often different.
